Show a Taiwanese school where the solid boundary wall has been set back and replaced with a permeable fence, giving the street a wider sidewalk and a planted buffer. Render the new boundary as a low masonry plinth topped with a slim vertical metal fence through which the campus trees, playground and covered walkway are visible from the street. Show the recovered strip between fence and kerb planted with a continuous hedge, groundcover and a row of shade trees, with a widened walking surface running through it.
