Detail the chairs as slatted bistro chairs in a single uniform colour, a deep park green, their frames slim and their seats perforated so rain drains straight through. Show the arrangement as the entire subject: no grid, no rows, no symmetry — chairs pulled into intimate pairs angled toward each other, a loose ring of five, a solitary chair dragged to face away from everyone toward a fountain, three abandoned mid-conversation at odd angles. Detail the drag marks scored into the gravel where chairs have been moved, recording earlier arrangements. Show a scattering of people occupying only some of them, the empty chairs equally important to the image. Set it in a formal city park with clipped trees and a fountain. Show dappled midday light.
