Design a bus shelter that defers entirely to an existing mature tree. Show a large old tree — a banyan, a plane or a camphor — standing directly beside the stop, its canopy spreading far enough to shade the whole waiting area, so the built shelter can be minimal: just a slim canopy over the immediate boarding point and a bench, with no walls at all. Detail the shelter as deliberately lightweight and subordinate — a thin metal plane on two slim posts, in a colour that recedes against the foliage. Show the bench wrapping partly around the tree's base as a curved timber seat on a low platform, with a permeable gravel surface over the root zone. Detail the light as the subject: dense dappled shadow covering the pavement, the bench and the waiting people, shifting as the leaves move, with a few bright patches of direct sun breaking through. Show people using the tree shade rather than the canopy. Set it on an ordinary neighbourhood street. Show summer afternoon. Photorealistic, dappled, green and warm, eye-level view.
