Show a Taiwanese dining area built from materials that show their making. Lay a terrazzo floor with an unusually large and irregular aggregate — chunks of marble, recycled glass and dark stone up to 40 millimetres — in a warm grey matrix, ground and polished but left with visible pits and inclusions. Line one wall in handmade ceramic tiles with obvious glaze pooling, uneven edges and colour drift between pieces, laid in a stack bond with generous grey grout so the irregularity reads. Place a heavy solid timber table with visible tool marks on its underside and a raw sawn edge, on blackened steel legs with visible weld beads left unground. Surround it with chairs in different materials — one in woven cane, one in bent steel, one in solid timber — as a deliberate collection. Add a hand-thrown stoneware pitcher and mismatched plates. Show side daylight raking hard across the tile wall to expose the glaze variation. Photorealistic, high tactile detail, honest and slightly rough, eye-level three-quarter view.
