Design a mountain resort guest room in the manner of Kerry Hill, quiet and framed on the landscape. Cut one large horizontal window framing a wide band of mountain and mist, positioned so it is best seen while seated or lying down. Build the interior in dark stained timber panelling and warm grey stone with off-white plaster above the datum. Keep the bed low and simple with white linen and one dark throw. Detail the bathroom as an open zone behind a low timber screen with a stone tub facing a second smaller window. Add a single ceramic vessel and nothing else. Light warmly and low from concealed sources and one slim reading light per side. Allow no artwork and no pattern. Show early morning with mist in the framed view and cool light entering.
