Design a bus shelter in the manner of Alexander Brodsky, built as a radically simple tall wooden tower on a very tight plot. Show a narrow vertical volume roughly two by two metres in plan but four or five metres tall, its lower level open with three sides fully glazed in plain single panes set directly into the timber frame. Detail the upper level as a small enclosed room reached by a simple ladder or steep stair, with a few small unglazed window openings punched into the timber wall at seemingly casual positions, giving a view out over the road and the fields. Build the whole thing in plain sawn softwood boards, unstained and already weathering unevenly, with the construction entirely visible and slightly rough — the joints simple, the nails showing. Show a simple pitched or flat roof with no overhang. Set it squeezed beside a house on a shared residential plot with a fence, a hedge and a parked car. Show flat winter light. Photorealistic, austere, plain weathered timber, eye-level view.
