鸡年主灯・传统风格:锦鸡彩绘与牡丹

Design the main lantern of a Taiwanese Lantern Festival for the Year of the Rooster, about 13 metres tall, in the traditional craft manner. Build a golden pheasant-style rooster on a hand-bent bamboo frame skinned in hand-painted silk, standing on a stylised rock form with its tail sweeping in a long elegant arc. Paint the plumage in traditional bird-and-flower painting technique — layered vermilion, gold, cobalt and jade feathers with fine black outlining, each tail feather individually rendered. Add hand-painted peony blossoms and branches in silk rising beside it as part of the composition. Light entirely from within with warm sources so the silk glows and the bamboo ribs read as fine lines beneath the painting. Set it on a carved stone platform with relief panels and corner posts carrying red palace lanterns. Add hanging calligraphic banners and dense lantern strings overhead. Show a warm night with crowds. Photorealistic, ornate, painterly and warm, eye-level view.
