鼠年主灯・传统风:竹编纸糊与彩绘绢布

Design the main lantern of a Taiwanese Lantern Festival for the Year of the Rat, about 12 metres tall, built in the traditional craft manner. Construct the rat's body from a hand-bent bamboo armature, its slender ribs clearly visible through translucent hand-painted silk stretched over the frame, so the internal structure reads as a drawing when lit from within. Paint the silk in traditional temple palette — vermilion, gold, indigo and jade — with auspicious motifs of peonies, clouds and coins hand-brushed across the body. Light it entirely from inside with warm sources so the whole form glows amber and the bamboo ribs cast their shadow onto the silk. Set it on a raised timber and stone platform with carved railings, flanked by two traditional red palace lanterns on tall poles. Add hanging tassels and a calligraphic banner. Show a night scene with warm crowds and temple architecture in the background. Photorealistic, warm, crafted and festive, eye-level view.
