Design a resort spa reception in the manner of Kerry Hill, calm and stripped of ceremony. Compose a low horizontal room with a deep flat ceiling plane and a continuous datum line at door head height. Place a still shallow water channel running the full length of one side, only a few centimetres deep, separating the walking route from a full-height timber screen wall beyond. Set the reception as a single long counter of warm grey stone with no computer or clutter visible, and one timber bench opposite. Keep the palette to three materials: warm grey stone floor, dark stained timber screens, off-white plaster. Detail a full-height opening at the end framing a small courtyard with a single tree and a gravel bed. Allow no artwork, no retail display, no signage. Light entirely from concealed warm sources within the ceiling plane and a low glow along the water channel. Show soft late daylight with the water reflecting faintly on the ceiling. Photorealistic, serene, horizontal and quiet, eye-level view along the water channel.
