Create an architectural visualisation using a long telephoto lens from a considerable distance, compressing depth. Show the effect clearly: the building, its neighbours and a distant mountain or tower all appearing to sit on nearly the same plane, stacked flatly one behind another with very little sense of the actual distance between them. Detail the perspective as almost orthographic — verticals nearly parallel, minimal convergence, and the facade reading almost as an elevation. Show the atmospheric perspective providing the only depth cue, with each successive layer slightly paler and cooler than the one in front. Detail the depth of field as shallow despite the distance, with the foreground layer and the far background both softening while the building stays sharp. Show a foreground element — a branch, a rooftop, a railing — cropping into the frame heavily out of focus, a common device with long lenses.
