Design an urban shade canopy built entirely from tensioned fabric. Detail the edges as continuous catenary cables sleeved into the fabric hem, so every boundary curves and no straight line appears anywhere in the roof. Show daylight passing through the membrane as a soft even glow, so the space beneath has almost no hard shadow. Set it over a paved civic plaza with low planting and people crossing.
