Design a Year of the Horse themed zone at a Taiwanese Lantern Festival in traditional painted-lantern language. Build a long freestanding screen wall about 30 metres in length depicting eight horses in classical brush-painting style, constructed as hand-painted silk over bamboo frames and lit from within so the ink and colour glow. Face it with an open gravel forecourt where eight life-size horse lanterns stand in varied poses — rearing, galloping, grazing — each in painted silk over bamboo with ornate saddles, tassels and bells. Frame the forecourt with tall timber poles carrying red palace lanterns and hang dense lantern strings overhead. Add a decorative gateway arch at the entrance with a calligraphic plaque. Include a traditional revolving lantern at one side casting galloping silhouettes onto its shade. Surface the ground in fine gravel with stone edging. Show a warm night with dense crowds and the painted screen glowing behind. Photorealistic, warm amber, painterly and grand, eye-level view across the forecourt.
