Design a café interior in the manner of India Mahdavi, saturated in colour and built from curves. Choose a single confident dominant colour — a dusty pink, a jade green or a marigold — and apply it to walls, ceiling, banquettes and even the floor tiles in slightly different tones so the room is immersed rather than accented. Build every element with a curve: rounded banquette backs, circular tables, arched mirrors, a curved bar front in fluted plaster, and softly radiused corners at every wall junction. Add a graphic patterned floor of small tiles in two contrasting tones laid in a bold geometric figure.
