Design a linear green corridor along an old irrigation canal running through a Taiwanese town. Compose the canal kept open with its original stone revetment repaired rather than replaced, a narrow walking path on one bank shaded by a continuous row of mature trees, and small platforms stepping down to the water at intervals where people used to wash.
