Design park seating as a scattered field of boulders rather than as placed furniture. Show seven or eight large fieldstones distributed across a meadow lawn with no visible order — not a circle, not a line, not evenly spaced — some in pairs almost touching, others standing alone many metres off, as though left behind by a glacier. Detail each stone as genuinely different: one broad and flat like a table, one tall and narrow to lean against, one tilted so its upper face slopes and can only be perched on, one half sunk so only its crown shows above the grass. Show the stones as unworked apart from a single subtly flattened area on the most-used face of each, ground just enough to be sittable without looking cut. Detail their surfaces as a weathered grey-brown with lichen in pale green and rust-orange patches on the north faces, and moss in the shaded hollows where they meet the turf. Show the grass growing long around their bases and worn short on the approach lines between them, the paths made by feet rather than by design.
