Design park seating as one continuous ribbon rather than as separate benches. Show a single band, four hundred and fifty millimetres wide, travelling some forty metres across a lawn in a long freely curving line — swinging wide around a tree, tightening into a hairpin, straightening for a stretch, then curling back on itself into a near-circle at the far end. Detail the ribbon as maintaining exactly the same section throughout while its height above the ground changes continuously, sitting flush with the turf in one place, lifting to seat height over most of its length, and rising to a perch height of eight hundred millimetres where it crosses a slope. Show the material as a smooth pale precast concrete with a fine honed finish, cast in segments whose joints appear as clean unfilled lines every two metres, revealing how the curve was made. Detail the edges as a small consistent chamfer, and the underside as visible only where the band lifts clear of the grass. Show people sitting along it at irregular intervals, some facing in, some out. Set it on an open park lawn with scattered trees. Show late-afternoon light so the curve casts a long sinuous shadow.
