Show a Taiwanese street where a series of sunken rain gardens has been built into the kerbside parking lane to catch road runoff. Render each garden as a depressed planted cell about the length of a parking bay, its surface set roughly 20 centimetres below the road, with a kerb inlet at the upstream end letting stormwater flow in and an overflow grate at the downstream end connecting to the drain. Detail the planting with layered wet-tolerant natives — sedges, irises, ferns and a small multi-stem tree — and a stone forebay at the inlet to trap sediment. Show the cell partly holding water after rain, with a visible high-water mark on the stones. Keep bollards and a low rail on the sidewalk side so pedestrians do not step down. Include a cutaway at the frame edge revealing the layered profile: mulch, bioretention soil, filter layer, gravel storage and perforated underdrain. Set the scene on an ordinary residential street with apartment buildings and street trees. Slightly elevated view along the kerb line, bright post-rain light, photorealistic textures.
