Render an ordinary urban pedestrian overpass of the most common type, designed well rather than as an afterthought. Show a single clear span of about 30 metres crossing a busy road, its deck carried on a shallow steel box girder — a closed rectangular section with clean welded plate sides, painted a soft mid-grey, its depth kept as slim as the span allows so it does not sit heavily over the street. Detail the underside as completely smooth with concealed drainage and a continuous recessed light channel washing the road below. Show the parapet as a slim steel top rail with a fine vertical baluster infill at close centres, and a mesh screen rising above it. Set the two supports as slender single columns in board-formed concrete standing in the central median, tapering slightly toward the deck. Detail the deck surface as a textured epoxy in a warm tone with a tactile guidance strip down the centre. Show late-afternoon traffic passing beneath and pedestrians crossing above.
