Taiwanese Arcade Bus Shelters: Column Extension and Corrugated Iron Rain Canopies

Design a bus shelter that grows out of the Taiwanese arcade tradition. Show the shelter reading as a short continuation of the covered arcade beside it — the same column rhythm, the same soffit height, the same tiled floor pattern carried out from under the building and across the waiting area, so the shelter and the arcade become one continuous sheltered walk. Detail the columns as square rendered piers matching the building's, and the canopy as a simple metal sheet roof with a folded edge, deliberately ordinary and unpretentious. Show the rear as open to the arcade so people can move between the two freely. Detail a bench of stainless steel slats and a simple route board mounted on one pier. Show the honest Taiwanese street context: the arcade behind with a shop and its signage, scooters parked along the kerb, an electricity pole with a tangle of cables, a betel-nut stand and a convenience store further along. Show late-afternoon light entering low under the canopy. Photorealistic, ordinary and contextual, warm, eye-level view along the arcade.
