Prefabricated Fair-faced Concrete Seat: Formwork Texture and Precise Chamfer

Design a park seat as a precast concrete element, designed around what a mould can do. Show an L-shaped section — a vertical back slab and a horizontal seat slab cast together as one piece — the profile constant along a two and a half metre length, so the whole object could be lifted by a single crane hook. Detail the concrete as a pale warm grey self-compacting mix with a smooth glassy face taken directly off a steel mould, the surface almost polished, with a scatter of tiny blowholes left visible as evidence rather than filled. Show every arris as a precise fifteen-millimetre chamfer running perfectly straight for the full length, and the two lifting anchor sockets left visible on the top face as small recessed discs. Detail the seat's underside as raised on two integral concrete feet set well in from the ends, throwing a deep shadow beneath and letting the slab cantilever at both ends. Show a second identical unit placed nearby at ninety degrees, so the repetition of the mould is legible. Set them on a paved park plaza with birch trees behind.
