Suspended Canopy Across the Street: An Aerial Plane Extending from Adjacent Buildings

Design a street canopy that touches the ground nowhere at all. Show a shading surface suspended across a narrow city street between the buildings on either side, hung from steel cables anchored to brackets bolted onto the existing facades at fourth-floor level, so the street below stays completely clear of columns.
