Serene Proportions Museum Shop: Stone and Order

Design a museum shop interior in the manner of David Chipperfield, ordered by proportion and material weight. Build the room on a strict rhythm: a repeating structure of full-height stone piers along both walls at even spacing, with the display shelving set precisely between them so nothing breaks the rhythm. Use a single warm limestone throughout for the piers, floor and a central display table, all with a honed matte finish and fine joints aligned across every surface. Keep the ceiling flat and calm with a continuous recessed light slot following each wall. Detail the shelves as slim solid timber in a pale oak, set into the piers with a clean shadow gap. Display objects sparingly with generous spacing. Add a counter as one solid stone block with a bronze inlay for the till. Allow no signage beyond small engraved lettering, no colour, no decoration.
