Human-Centered Old Streets: Pavement and Utility Integration in Historic Districts

Render a Taiwanese historic shophouse street upgraded for pedestrians without erasing its character. Show the street rebuilt as a single flush surface from building face to building face, paved in granite setts with a smooth sawn-finish band down each side to give wheelchairs and trolleys an easy running line, and a shallow central drainage channel.
