Gravel and Moss Gardens: Nature in Precise Geometry

Design a hotel entry garden in the manner of Vladimir Djurovic, where nature is placed with total precision. Divide the ground into large rectangular fields with razor-sharp boundaries: one of raked pale gravel, one of dense low moss, one of honed dark stone paving, each perfectly level with the next and separated by a slim recessed shadow gap rather than a kerb. Place three mature multi-stem trees with sculptural forms at carefully calculated positions, each rising from a precisely cut square opening in one of the fields. Run a single thin water channel across the composition, only a few centimetres wide, its edges machined sharp, its sound audible. Keep the boundary walls in a warm honed stone, entirely blank, with a crisp coping. Allow no other planting, no furniture, no visible lighting.
