Year of the Ox Main Lantern・Tech Style: Mechanical Structure and Dynamic Joints

Design the main lantern of a Taiwanese Lantern Festival for the Year of the Ox, about 18 metres tall, as a piece of visible engineering. Build the ox with its skeleton deliberately exposed — a lattice of slim steel members forming the volume, with only selected areas skinned in translucent panels so the animal reads as half machine, half creature. Articulate the head and front legs with real hydraulic joints that move slowly on a programmed cycle, the mechanism visible and lit. Run linear LED along every structural member in cool white with amber accents at the joints, so the frame itself becomes the drawing. Mount it on a heavy steel base with visible bolts and a control cabinet treated as part of the design. Add haze and beam lights from below catching the lattice. Set it in a plaza with a crowd watching the movement cycle. Show a clear night with the structure glowing against dark sky. Photorealistic, mechanical, powerful and luminous, low eye-level view.
