Exhibition Booths under Tensile Membrane: Lightweight Tent Structures

Design a travel expo stand sheltered by a lightweight tensile canopy. Rig a series of white tensioned fabric sails at varying heights from slim steel masts and cables, their curved surfaces overlapping to form a light, airy roof over an otherwise open stand with no walls at all. Uplight the fabric from below so the canopy glows softly and reads from across the hall as a floating cloud. Beneath it, keep the ground plane open and simple: a raised timber deck, a scatter of woven lounge chairs and low tables, a curved reception counter in pale timber, and a few large potted palms. Display destination imagery on double-sided fabric banners hung between the masts, allowing views straight through the stand. Add a small bar counter serving a regional drink. Keep the palette to white fabric, pale timber, natural fibre and green planting. Light warmly beneath the canopy with festoon strings. Show visitors sitting and talking under the sails. Photorealistic, light, airy and welcoming, eye-level view into the stand.
