Zen Stone Tea House: Low Seat, Hearth, and a Single Flower

Show a contemporary tea room inside a Taiwanese home, stripped to almost nothing. Build a low platform in dark timber with a recessed square hearth at its centre holding a simple iron kettle over a small heat source. Seat positions are floor cushions in undyed linen, set directly on the platform with no chairs. Line one wall in rough grey stone with a split face, and the opposite wall in a smooth warm plaster with a single shallow niche holding one ceramic vessel and a single camellia stem.
