Building Materials Exhibition・Materials as Exhibits: Full-Scale Sample Wall
Prompt
Design a building materials trade show booth where the product is the architecture. Build a full-height sample wall about 12 metres long and 4 metres tall, divided into a precise grid of bays, each bay finished in a different variant of the company's material — different colours, textures, formats and finishes of tile, stone, timber or panel — installed exactly as it would be on a real building, with correct joints, trims and corners. Light each bay individually with a concealed grazing light from above so the surface texture is fully revealed. Turn one corner of the wall as a genuine external corner so visitors can see how the material handles it. Cut a doorway through the wall into a meeting area behind. Keep everything else in the stand deliberately neutral: a plain resin floor, a simple counter, no graphics competing with the samples. Add a low shelf along the wall base holding loose samples visitors can pick up. Show specifiers touching and comparing the surfaces. Photorealistic, precise, tactile and informative, eye-level view along the wall.
