Nanyang Resort Home Bathroom: Semi-Outdoor Shower and Greenery

Render a Taiwanese bathroom that opens to a small planted light well, giving a semi-outdoor shower. Build the shower area against a full-height glazed wall looking onto a narrow planted court filled with ferns, a small tree and pebbles, with the glass sliding open so the shower becomes genuinely outdoor when wanted. Finish the walls in a warm sand-toned polished lime plaster and the floor in tumbled dark stone with rounded edges, gently sloped to a channel drain. Set a solid teak slatted duckboard in the shower zone. Build a vanity from a thick slab of reclaimed teak carrying a hammered brass vessel basin and unlacquered brass tapware already patinating. Add a large frameless mirror and a woven rattan basket for towels. Include a rough linen towel on a rope loop and a single potted orchid. Show dappled daylight coming through the planting and falling in moving patterns across the plaster and stone. Photorealistic, humid and green, warm materials, eye-level view toward the planted court.
