Wabi-Sabi Grey Dining Area: Long Table, Dry Branches, and a Ray of Light

Render a Taiwanese dining area reduced to a table, a light and a wall. Place a long solid timber table with a raw live edge and visible checks and knots, supported on simple square legs, on a floor of warm grey micro-cement. Surround it with mismatched simple chairs in pale wood and woven paper cord, deliberately not a matching set. Behind it, keep one large wall entirely empty in hand-troweled mineral plaster, its surface uneven enough to catch light. Suspend a single large paper or raw-linen shade above the table centre, hung low, glowing warm.
