Victoria Tavern: Dark Wood, Etched Glass & Cluttered Displays

Design a bar in a densely detailed Victorian public house language. Show a heavy carved mahogany bar back rising to the ceiling with turned columns, arched niches, small bevelled mirrors and a moulded cornice, packed with bottles. Detail the bar front in matching mahogany with a brass foot rail on turned supports and a worn brass drip tray. Show etched and acid-frosted glass in every screen and upper window pane, with elaborate scrollwork and lettering, some panels in coloured glass. Detail the walls in a deep red flock wallpaper below a picture rail, hung densely with framed prints, mirrors and advertising plates in overlapping arrangement. Show the ceiling in pressed metal panels painted a dark cream, yellowed with age.
