Swallowtail Ridge: Curving Eaves and Main Ridge
Prompt
Render the roof of a Taiwanese Minnan-style temple, focusing on the swallowtail ridge. Show the main ridge rising in a shallow continuous curve along its length, then splitting at each end into two slender upturned tails that sweep skyward and taper to fine points — the profile sharp against the sky rather than blunt. Detail the ridge body as a hollow masonry spine faced with cut-and-paste ceramic work in cobalt, jade, coral and gold, its surface densely modelled rather than flat. Lay the roof plane in half-round barrel tiles in a warm orange-red, with a fine rhythm of tile ends along the eaves and a drip course of round eave tiles stamped with a lotus motif. Show the eave line also curving gently upward at the corners, carried on a bracket cluster just visible beneath. Keep the wall below in red brick and grey stone. Shoot from a low angle against a clear blue sky so the ridge silhouette reads. Photorealistic, warm terracotta and saturated ceramic colour, crisp midday light.
