Exquisite Oriental Restaurant Booth: Screens, Copper, and Silk

Design a private dining room in the manner of André Fu, refined and layered without literal Chinese motifs. Enclose the room with full-height screens of slim bronze rods spaced closely, backed by a sheer fabric layer so the boundary glows softly and the space beyond is suggested rather than seen. Set a round table for ten in a pale onyx or figured stone with a slim bronze base, surrounded by low armchairs upholstered in a channelled velvet in a muted jade. Line the walls in a silk-textured covering in a warm oatmeal with a faint sheen. Hang a single large sculptural pendant of stacked frosted glass discs directly above the table centre. Add a lacquered sideboard in a deep tone with bronze detailing and one ceramic vessel. Detail the floor in a dark timber with a bronze inlay ring echoing the table.
