Glass Block Bus Shelter: Translucent Volume and Nighttime Illumination

Design a bus shelter built from glass block, translucent by day and luminous by night. Show three walls entirely of square glass blocks laid in a fine mortar grid, their surfaces slightly rippled so everything seen through them dissolves into soft coloured blur — passing cars become moving smears, people become shapes. Detail the block joints as thin and precise, forming a regular grid that gives the mass its texture. Show the roof as a simple flat slab with a slim edge, deliberately solid and opaque so the walls read as the luminous element. Detail the corner conditions as square blocks turned and mitred rather than trimmed, keeping the grid unbroken. Show the night condition as the design's point: light sources concealed within the wall cavity so the entire shelter becomes a glowing block of soft white, lighting the pavement around it and reading as a lantern down the street.
