Year of the Rooster Main Lantern・Tech Style: Winged Light Strips and Expanding Structure
Prompt
Design the main lantern of a Taiwanese Lantern Festival for the Year of the Rooster, about 16 metres tall, built around a mechanically unfolding tail. Model the rooster's body in faceted brushed metal over a visible steel frame, head raised and beak open. Build the tail as thirty individual slim steel feather blades on a concealed mechanism that opens them slowly into a full fan and closes them again on a timed cycle, each blade edged with addressable LED so the opening fan reads as a spreading arc of travelling light. Programme a colour sequence running from deep crimson at the base through amber to white at the tips. Model the comb and wattle in translucent red panels lit from within. Mount on a low dark base with a concealed uplight ring and haze. Set it in a plaza with a crowd watching the tail open. Show a clear night at the moment of full spread. Photorealistic, dynamic, luminous and mechanical, low eye-level view of the open fan.
