Giant Steel Man on the Hill: Ribbed Volume and Horizontal Wings

Design a colossal figurative sculpture in the manner of Antony Gormley, standing alone on a low grassy hill beside a motorway. Show a standing human form some twenty metres tall with arms extended straight out to both sides as two enormous flat wings, their span nearly three times the figure's height, held perfectly horizontal and angled very slightly forward so the gesture reads as an embrace rather than as flight. Detail the body as built from welded weathering steel sections with prominent external ribs running across the torso and down the limbs, the seams and rib plates left entirely exposed so the construction is honest and the figure reads as engineered rather than modelled. Show the head as simple and featureless, a plain block with no face, refusing any expression. Detail the wings as flat plates with a slight aerofoil section and visible stiffeners on their undersides. Show the patina as a deep even rust brown across the whole surface, darker in the ribbed recesses. Detail the scale by placing two tiny figures at the base looking up.
