Morning Empty Chair: Dew and an Unoccupied Park

Design a park bench photographed at first light, before anyone has arrived. Show a single empty timber bench on a lawn, the whole image organised around emptiness — no people anywhere, nothing on the seat, the paths clear. Detail a fine layer of dew covering every upward-facing surface: tiny droplets beaded across the seat slats catching the low light as thousands of pinpoints, the backrest wet and darkened, water gathered along the underside of the lower rail about to fall. Show the grass around the bench heavy with dew and silvered, with a single line of dark footprints crossing it where someone walked earlier, leading past the bench and away. Detail the light as very low and horizontal, coming through mist from behind and to one side, so the bench is largely in silhouette with a bright rim along its top edges and a very long soft shadow reaching toward the viewer. Show the background as almost dissolved — trees reduced to grey masses in mist, the far side of the park invisible. Detail the colour as nearly monochrome with only the faintest warmth in the sky.
