Building Materials Exhibition・Single Material Booth: Building a Stand with Your Own Products

Design a building materials booth constructed entirely from the company's own single product, as a proof of capability. Build every element of the stand — walls, counter, seating, display plinths, the ceiling baffles and even the light fittings' housings — from the same material, whether that is a terrazzo, a compressed timber board, a perforated metal panel or a moulded concrete unit. Show the material used in many different ways: stacked, folded, perforated, curved, cut into fine louvres, polished and left raw, so the range of possibility is the message. Keep the geometry simple and repetitive so the material reads clearly. Add small engraved labels on each application naming the technique. Keep colour to the material's own natural range with no paint or applied finish anywhere. Light with concealed sources within the material itself so the fittings disappear. Show visitors touching the different treatments and a designer taking notes. Photorealistic, coherent, tactile and persuasive, eye-level view into the stand.
