Design a school toilet that addresses the real problem — that children avoid using them because they feel unsafe and unpleasant. Show the wash area pulled entirely out of the enclosed room and placed in the open corridor as a long bright trough with many taps, fully visible to passing teachers, so the only enclosed space is the cubicle itself. Detail the cubicles as full-height individual rooms with solid doors and proper locks, gender-neutral and identical, each with good light and its own extract, so no child is ever in a shared enclosed room with others. Show the fittings scaled correctly for the age group — pans, basins and hooks at child height, with one accessible cubicle at adult dimensions. Detail the finishes as bright, warm and durable with a strong accent colour, natural light from a high window run, and generous mirrors above the corridor trough. Show a wall-mounted supply of sanitary products, freely available and discreetly placed. Include children washing hands in the corridor.
