Design a bus shelter that reads first as a public sculpture and only second as infrastructure. Show an ambiguous abstract form — a large twisted or folded mass in polished stainless steel, its surface mirror-finished so it reflects and distorts the street, the sky and the people around it — with the sheltering function emerging from a deep hollow in one side rather than being expressed as roof and walls. Detail the geometry as continuously curved with no flat plane and no obvious top or bottom, so the object's orientation is unclear until one sees the bench inside the hollow. Show the reflections doing the visual work: the sky stretched across the upper surface, passing cars smeared along the flank, the viewer's own reflection warped. Detail the bench inside as a simple contrasting element in dark timber, clearly a later insertion into the sculpture. Show the object on a plain paved plaza with room around it.
