Glass Wave Canopy: An Undulating Axis Roof

Design an immensely long glazed canopy in the manner of Massimiliano Fuksas, running as a continuous ribbon above a public spine more than a kilometre in length. Show the surface behaving like a sail caught in wind — for long stretches a shallow undulating plane hovering above the walkway, then periodically collapsing into deep funnels and craters that plunge toward the ground or twist upward into volcanic cones. Detail the structure as a fine triangulated steel lattice carrying flat glass panels of continually varying shape, the grid distorting smoothly as the geometry warps so that almost no panel repeats where the surface curves hardest. Show the supports as slim inclined steel columns spaced widely apart, leaving the spine beneath completely clear. Detail the glass as clear with a light ceramic frit, so the sky reads through the mesh from below and the shadow on the paving becomes a fine drifting net. Set it over a broad paved axis flanked by low pavilion buildings, with people walking its length. Show bright overcast light so the steel reads pale grey.
