Cinematic Bar: Sculptural Ceiling and Material Clash

Design a hotel bar in the manner of Joyce Wang, dark and materially inventive. Suspend a dramatic ceiling of hundreds of blackened metal rods or chains at varying lengths above the bar, catching raking light so the ceiling reads as a shimmering three-dimensional field. Build the bar counter from a heavily veined dark marble with a blackened steel base and a brass foot rail, backed by a wall of cast glass panels with a deep ripple, lit from behind so the bottles are seen as distorted silhouettes. Set banquettes in oxblood leather with tight channelling against blackened timber panelling. Add small tables in dark marble with slim steel bases and low stools in tan leather. Detail the floor in a dark terrazzo with large brass aggregate catching the light.
