Imperial Roadstone: Cloud Dragon Slope on the Dan Chi

Render the carved stone ramp set into the centre of the steps leading up to the main hall of a Taiwanese temple. Show a single large slab of grey-blue stone laid at the pitch of the stair, its surface carved in shallow relief with a dragon among clouds and waves, the composition running up the slope so the dragon appears to ascend. Flank it with plain stepped stone treads on both sides, which are the parts people actually walk on — the carved ramp is ceremonial and left untrodden. Detail the relief as low and broad rather than deeply undercut, with crisp outlines and a softly worn surface, moss growing in the deepest lines and rainwater darkening the lower end. Show the stone balustrade posts at each side with small carved lion finials, and the temple threshold and door leaves at the top.
